Amanda at Red Rock Canyon

Some of you who have been reading my blog for a while may remember Amanda. I have been taking pictures of her since she was a baby, and always love my sessions with her! She is a cute and spunky little girl, and I love her so much!   This Monday, we took her portraits at Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

Jason and Andrea’s Wedding at Sacred Heart and the Cliff House

Last Saturday, Andrea and Jason were married in a beautiful mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Cliff House. These two were fun to watch together. They were so comfortable with one another, while also so affectionate and alive in their love of one another.

Andrea already was glowing as she arrived at the church.

With the wedding procession about to begin, Andrea’s bridesmaids checked the window from her room to be sure Jason couldn’t see her and then they crossed the hallway above the sanctuary and headed down to begin the processional.

Jason was so emotional upon seeing Andrea enter the room on her mother’s arm!

I loved that both Jason and Andrea wiped their tears of joy at the exact same moment as they made it to the front.

Jason and Andrea took a short detour after their wedding and went to the arcade for a couple quick games of skee ball.

Jason comforted Andrea during toasts as she was particularly touched.

The DJ, Laser Sound, provided these amazing lights during the reception that kept the colors of the room constantly changing.  They were so fun!  Here Andrea and her dad had their dance together.

Nate and Christy’s Wedding at Forestgate Presbyterian Church

This Saturday, Christy and Nate got married at Forestgate Presbyterian Church in the Gleneagle area of Colorado Springs! This was such a beautiful wedding for a truly special couple. Their love and excitement for each other and their marriage was just radiating from both of them. This was also our fourth Baran wedding (Christy’s family) and we were so privileged to be a part of the day of each of the Baran kids and their marriages. Congratulations Christy and Nate!

Erika and Michael’s Wedding at Rockledge Country Inn

Erika and Michael are an awesome couple who got married this Tuesday at Rockledge Country Inn in Manitou Springs. It was a beautiful wedding with a mountain view the entire evening, all under a sunny sky! Erika’s two children, Ethan and Emma were a big part of the wedding day and so adorable as they officially welcomed Michael to the family.

Emma loved the camera, and the camera loved her!

Ethan got ready with all the guys and Michael helped him smooth out his hair.  What a handsome little guy!

Rockledge is a totally unique venue in that it has a tree in the middle and the guest wrap around the sides of this beautiful tree, enjoying it’s shade and protection as the ceremony progresses.

My and Dan’s Wedding at the Manor House

Dan and My got married Friday at the Manor House in Ken Caryl.  It is a beautiful old manor with a great view of both the rolling hills and rock features surrounding it, and the city of Denver.  Dan and My are so fun together, keeping the day lively and full of fun and humor.

Laura and Steve’s Wedding at the Club at Pradera

Laura and Steve were married this Saturday at the Club at Pradera, placed at a beautiful golf course in Parker, Colorado. Everything about the day was beautiful!

Laura’s mother was her matron of honor, and helped her with her dress, reflected in a large, gorgeous mirror.

Since Pradera has a golf course, we put the rings on this golf flag.

Laura and Steve opted to see each other before the wedding and we took some beautiful photos all around the course!

The golf cart needed a little extra love on this hill where the route had been changed since we opted to drive it backwards. I don’t think that’s the way it was intended to be driven!   What a guy Steve was pushing in his tux.  Matt leant a hand too.

During the toasts, Steve leaned over and gave Laura this sweet and tender kiss on the shoulder.

Laura and Steve chose not to have a cake or a cake cutting, but they did have a “cookie moment.”  While most of their guests were dancing outside, they fed each other cookies.  It was so fun!

They also hired a photobooth from Denver Photo Booth during the wedding.  Here Laura and one of her friends were living it up inside!

Some of the photobooth costumes didn’t exactly stay in the photobooth.  This guy reminds me of the little boy in “Christmas Story” who stands in line with Ralphie while they wait to see Santa Claus.
